The project deals with the artist's own family history and comprises the space of Germany and the Czech Republic. In her own words, Anne Erhard's project "[...] follows the trajectory of a meteorite as a central object of fascination, assembling a fictional framework out of landscapes and souvenirs hinged around an impact that took place in Southern Germany more than 14 million years ago,".
Within the frame of the event "Weekend of open studios" on Sunday, September 24th, she will open her own studio to the public.
On Tuesday, October 3rd, you will get the chance to attend a photography workshop held by Anne in her own studio in DEPO2015. It will start at 3 p.m. and go until 5 p.m. Because of limited capacities, all participants need to register via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
During the residency, she will be working in a newly created darkroom at that site. Her residency project will culminate into an exhibition. The opening will take place on October 20th as part of the Bavarian-Bohemian "Treffpunkt" Festival. For more information visit anneerhard.com
