Carlos Carmonamedina is a Mexican artist and illustrator. Since 2010 he has been travelling in Central and Eastern Europe taking part in numerous projects and residencies, making the world his own studio. He spent three month in Pilsen and followed up a community-oriented program called Foster the City which focuses on small-scaleimprovements to public space.

His project called Fooding Plzen 2015 took place at location of former river public bath Plovárna. The main of his residency was to bring people back to this abandoned place. Therefore he organised eight culinary workshops – there was a different topic every Sunday. And it showed that the saying „food connects people“ is definitely a true one.
