Open call for artists

In summer 2022, the international artists’ residence
SCHIESSLHAUS AiR will be launching an EU-funded
transboundary Czech-Bavarian Artist-in-Residence-
Program in cooperation of the municipality of Kollnburg
with Plzeň 2015.

Artists and creative professionals from Bavaria and Czechia are invited to apply for a two-month residency at the „Schießl-Haus“ in Kollnburg, a small town lying halfway between Munich and Prague in the Bavarian Forest.

The four selected residents –two artists from Germany and two artists from Czechia – will receive an artist’s fee of 1.000 EUR per month as well as 400 EUR for the costs of materials.

The residency program is process-oriented: it focuses on time, space and encounters. It seeks to inspire open-ended interdisciplinary dynamics, exchange and dialogue, participation, and reflection.

Register by May 1, 2022.
