The program was created during the preparatory years of the Plzeň - European Capital of Culture 2015 project, and during its existence, more than 500 volunteers participated in the organization of cultural, educational and research events through it. In 2015 alone, they devoted more than 6,000 hours of their free time to culture.

The program continues to operate and DEPO2015 has become its home stage. However, in addition to the activities of the Plzeň 2015 organization, the activities of the volunteers focus on supporting other cultural organizations and institutions such as: Pěstuj sprot, French Alliance Plzeň, West Bohemian Museum in Pilsen, Study and Science Library of the Plzeň Region, Film Servis Plzeň and the Finale and Dance Prague festival .
