SUŠKA LOOKOUT CROCHETED TOWER
This steel lookout tower, welded together from discarded steel tanks, is the work of sculptor Čestmír Suška. This monumental lookout tower has stood in the courtyard of the DEPO2015 cultural and creative zone since 2015, when it was erected as part of the Restart exhibition within the European Capital of Culture 2015 project.
The observation tower is 15 meters high, weighs 15 tons, and is made of welded fuel tanks. The aim was to provide a view of the bus depot, something you won't find anywhere else in the Czech Republic.
