Czech-German Art Residency in Product Design and Applied Arts · Regensburg, Germany

DEPO2015 and RAiR are announcing an open call for one professional artist, designer, or creator from the Czech Republic to participate in an international residency in Regensburg.

​

WHO IS ELIGIBLE

One professional artist, designer, or creator living and working in the Czech Republic.

• product design and applied arts

• object and lighting design

• material-based / interdisciplinary work

• professional experience demonstrated by previous work or a portfolio

WHAT WE OFFER

• Residency in Regensburg: at least 2 weeks

• Grant / stipend: 30,000 CZK, including travel expenses

• Materials / production budget: up to 30,000 CZK

• Accommodation and workspace provided by the partner organization

• Production and professional support from RAiR

• involvement in the local cultural and creative scene

GOAL OF THE RESIDENCY

To develop a new original project in the field of product design, applied arts, or related interdisciplinary work, and to foster professional exchange between the Czech and German creative scenes through the residency.

The premises must comply with applicable fire safety and electrical installation requirements, maintain clear access to emergency exits and technical equipment, and must not obstruct emergency lighting.

PUBLIC PRESENTATION

The outcome of the residency will be publicly presented in Regensburg as part of the RAiR residency program. The resident will participate in the communication and documentation of the project.
