MONDAY, JANUARY 26, 2026 | TICKETS COMING SOON
1ST PERFORMANCE 10:30–11:10 a.m.
2ND PERFORMANCE 2:30–3:10 p.m.
Heat, wind, stone, tree. A tree with a leaf on it. The greenest leaf. But how to get to it? Standing firmly on your feet for the first time and looking at the world from above is no easy feat. Especially when you have long legs, a long neck, and you're a giraffe. Maybe all it takes is a little courage. But when the juiciest leaf is so high up! Balalanc is a gentle story about finding balance, about the courage to grow and discover so that we can learn about the world around us. It is also about the confidence we need to stand on our own two feet.
The production is being prepared by Studio Damúza and is suitable for children aged 10 months to 3 years and their parents.

ISLAND OF DISCOVERIES – workshop for children aged 15–24 months
THURSDAY, JANUARY 29, 2026 | TICKETS COMING SOON
TIME: 10:00–10:30 a.m.
"Come and see how to properly stimulate your child at our demonstration lesson as part of the 'KUK' festival."
Island of Discoveries is a unique Czech program for children that aims to stimulate proper brain development through a variety of multisensory activities. The children are guided by Kryštůfek the puppet, who always takes them to a different island of knowledge. During the course, children will try a wide range of activities focused on developing fine and gross motor skills, counting, musical and rhythmic activities, breathing and movement elements, sorting and creative activities. During these activities, children will gradually and gently engage all their senses at once (smell, touch, sight, hearing, and taste).
Our courses are based on the knowledge that a child's development between birth and the age of six, the so-called "windows of opportunity," is crucial, and that learning something new is most intense when all the senses are engaged.
Together with children and their parents, we discover the world with all our senses. We believe that discovering the world can also be a great joy. We actively guide children and show them connections.
Parents should therefore keep in mind during the first years of their child's life that developing the senses is just as important as physical or intellectual development.

Two heroes – Pom and Luli. Peek-a-boo! And they're here. Tap, tap, tap... They wander through a bedtime landscape-non-landscape and meet Béé, Haf, Trututú, BAF!, Brum. The journey is long, their eyelids are heavy. Shh! And good night.
This performance, light as a feather, follows the European trend of creating for children from zero to three years of age called "Theatre for very young." Currently, many theaters and creators abroad are programmatically devoted to this trend, and we are now bringing it to the Czech Republic for the first time.
The performance offers children their first contact with theater—it is interactive.
